Shrewsbury on Tour Posted August 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Thanks in advance for any help given. We are parking up on the 16/09/2018 @ ABP Parking We are arriving at the car park 10.30 - 11.00AM was hoping to pop into the city centre before boarding, does anyone have any experience of this. Was wondering if it’s walkable, if there’s a bus etc. Many thanks
newport dave Posted August 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2018 If you go onto Google maps and find your cruise terminal, parking is normally just across from it. From there, you can work out how far it is into the centre. We did it from Mayflower terminal earlier this year and it took us about 20mins to walk it. Rare John Bull Posted August 29, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2018 You're on Navigator of the Seas, yes? So you'll be at City cruise terminal, and the parking is directly opposite or alongside the terminal - quite convenient to leave your bags while you go to the city centre, though you can drop your checked bags at the bag drop (right-hand end of terminal) quite early. Enter the docks by either Dock Gate 10 or Dock Gate 8. Gate 8 is probably quickest, it's only for City terminal whereas gate 10 is also for Mayflower terminal (Aurora in that day) and other commercial berths. For the city centre walk out of gate 8. https://goo.gl/maps/mE8Sah2Svaq (but you can avoid the dog-leg by cutting through the Holiday Inn carpark) JB :)
