Sapphire Princess B300

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has stayed in cabin B300 or the equivalent on the Sapphire Princess. My Mom will be using a scooter for the first time so we were told we needed an accessible cabin. There will be 3 of us in this cabin, Mom, sister and myself. Does the bed for the 3rd person come down from the ceiling? How are these beds for an adult to sleep in? We had originally planned on booking a mini suite but there are no handicapped cabins available in that category. I currently have a hold on this cabin until Friday. I would appreciate any information; if anyone has any pictures that would be great.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Julie

As far as I know all balcony cabins that support more than 2 people have the extra bed(s) recessed into the ceiling. I know there are interior and ocean view with the beds hanging off the wall but I don't believe there are any balcony cabins of that type. Since the deck plan clearly shows the cabin supports up to 4 passengers it will not be a roll away.

Thank you for your reply. Does anyone know if we had a problem getting into the recessed beds will they bring a rollaway into the room? None of us are spring chickens and climbing up into a bunk does not sound very appealing. Trying to decide if we can make due or if one of us should get an interior across the hallway. That option would be very expensive though.

I know you're worried about cost. But think about intangibles too. If you get another cabin, you get an extra bathroom! And there is less possibility for conflict on things like temperature, lights off, drawer space, closet space, etc. You can also get extra room keys to share the space too. Then make a choice based on VALUE to you, not just cost.
