Booking a cruise - best way?

I had a good experience with [insert here the name of a large online site that starts with Travel and ends with City], and even got a fare reduction when I noticed a price drop. All prices were clearly marked as including all taxes and port charges. The fare was the same as with Carnival direct booking, no extra booking fee except $10 extra for airfare. Booked my last cruise direct w/ Carnival due to a "one-day-sale" promotion, but that fare was still available last I looked. Still I have not seen lower anywhere else.

I think it all depends on the passenger. Some really like having a personal relationship with a TA and others just want lowest price and could care less about the rest.
