Rare joern Posted September 9, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2018 Hi I Understand that there's a Premium Outlet Mall in Puerto Rico. We have a few days before the cruise, and would love to spend a few hours in an outlet mall (we always do that when we come to the US). Is it worth going there or are we better off waiting till Sint Maarten? If so, how do we get there from our hotel Double Tree by Hilton in Condado area? You would definitely need to rent a car to get there. The Mall is located in the outskirts of the town of Barceloneta just off the freeway PR-22. It's a good 1:15 drive from the Double Tree, though. As long as you're driving up there you might as well check out other interesting places nearby like the huge Christopher Colombus statue on PR-681 which is a nice drive right besides the coast. You'll also find a lot of good quaint places to grab a bite and try some local food. You can continue towards Arecibo and take PR-10 north to Cueva Ventana and then take a short drive through the countryside toward the Arecibo Radio Telescope. Or.... you could do it backwards to ensure you don't get toe the cave or radio telescope short on time and feel rushed.

We keep seeing stuff for it, and if not for being in a hurry to get someplace when we are going or coming from the airport, we keep saying we need to stop there. Seems as if there are a lot of high end stores there (according to ads).
