ELA Posted October 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2018 Has anyone done parasailing on the private island? We only did it once in Key West and I am not crazy about doing it outside of the US. Any thoughts? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
KweezyCruiser Posted October 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2018 I’m so glad you asked and i’m hoping for reassuring answers. I booked this at the request of my daughter and I’m secretly hoping that we can’t tender to GSC!
Infiniti820 Posted October 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2018 I did parasailing at great stirrup cay 2 summers ago and absolutely loved it!! My nephew and I went up together - we were in the air maybe 5 minutes...I think there is a law that you can only be in the air for 5-7 minutes. Is there something specific you wanted to know? KweezyCruiser Posted October 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 8, 2018 Is there something specific you wanted to know? That you didn’t die; that’s an excellent start! DD aren’t cruising with anyone else who can mind our bag, towels, etc. Is there a place to stash them near the excursion?

Nope- still alive!! ;) There was a bench and picnic table right outside the little cottage that you will have to go to so you can sign whatever paperwork they give you, that’s all I remember. If you are going to get a lounge chair or a clamshell, I think it’s best to leave all your stuff there and then just walk over to the cottage, that’s what we did. .carry phones with you, I had a waterproof case that hung around my neck and was able to videotape the whole time!! ELA Posted October 8, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted October 8, 2018 I am just worried about safety - heard a story somewhere at one point of an accident in South America. but I think they were not endorsed by the cruise line.... thanks!
