Lawrence of Antigua

Just returned from our cruise on the NCL Jewel. I felt I had to post to let everyone know about Lawrence and the most special day we spent with him. I learned of him through this board and after a few e-mail correspondances, booked a tour for two families. The price was $45 per. He met us at the pier, and took us on a 3 and 1/2 hour tour of the beautiful Island of Antigua. His banter was wonderful. His bus was roomy, air conditioned and spotless. In fact he was quite anal about the condition of the bus. After the tour, he took us to Turner beach, and gave us all the time we wanted until he returned us to our most wonderful ship. Highly recommended.

Was Turner's Beach excellent/good/average/poor? Could you compare it to others or was it only that that's where Lawrence wanted to take you? Was it as idylic as some of the Caribbean beaches look on the tour brochures delivered overseas? We leave Sunday and haven't arranged anything yet for Antigua............
