Anything close to port????

We are arriving by air to NOLA and taking a shuttle to the port. We need to pick up a couple of bottles of wine and sode before getting on ship.  Can anyone tell me a place close by that I could purchase same.  Apparently shuttle will not stop and since I have already booked transfer can't change to taxi.  Thanks for any advice.

Cajun Market (801 Convention Center Blvd) will have about 50 different selections of wine, and would be within walking distance (.25 miles to Julia St Terminal (NCL/Royal), and  .40 to Erato St Terminal (Carnival)).

I'm also taking the Carnival Shuttle, and would like to stop at this market before boarding the ship. I'm assuming Carnival will take all my luggage from Shuttle to Ship. I'll keep a small bag with me to put my purchases. 

 

I'm a visual type person. So, how far is this Cajun Mkt from the Shuttle Drop-Off?

I've shopped at the Cajun Market a couple of times.  Just be prepared for elevated prices compared to what you are probably used to.  It is convienient though.
