Dolphin Encounter - Puerto Vallarta - Holland America

My DW wants to do the Dolphin Encounter tour offered by Holland America in Puerto Vallarta.  However, she has a fear of water when it is over her waist.  So, has anyone done this tour and if so, how deep is the water?

The Dolphin encounter is a great tour . The water is very deep but all particpants are given life jackets to wear. 

The dolphins will take you around the pool with tou hanging on to a fin. 

The facility is first class

I think you are referring to the Dolphin SWIM, not the Encounter.  On the Encounter, there is not swimming involved (that would rule my DW out for sure!).
