beachmets Posted October 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2018 We cruised last year on the Regal to the Caribbean and going again in Jan 2019. Wondering if there are any new production shows in the theatre?

Wondering if there are any new production shows in the theatre? Just came off the Regal about 3 weeks ago and DW recalls there was 1 new show (on a 14 day cruise). The other shows were all being performed on the ship last year (Nov 2017) and at least 1 show was being performed 2 years ago! They are still doing Fiera, Bravo and Born to Dance. We are going back on the Regal next week and will not be in a hurry to go back to the shows (some of which we have seen 4 times) with one exception. "Born to Dance" is a personal favorite and we know that there has been some major cast changes since our last cruise (many of the entertainers finished their contracts after our cruise). I should add that we were on the Golden back in April and there also performing many of the same shows. It is the way of the cruise world with production shows. They are expensive to produce and it takes time to train the performers. So they tend to keep the shows for 2-3 years...and sometimes even longer.
