We are taking a cruise to Antartica and S. America.  Do you have a suggestion about booking a tour excursion  called "Best of Port Stanley: Volunteer Point" besides the cruise line?  Thank you.

In the Falklands, wee did the HAL 4x4 drive out to see the thousands of King penguins - very rugged open field drive out to this remote location, but ranks as one of the most fabulous shore excursions we have ever taken.  If you are up to this sort of physically challenging adventure, be sure to consider this option too.

Because this is an often-missed port for weather, we went with the Ship's tour to the king penguin colony, where we also had tea and shopped at a family run cottage. My mom bought DiddlyDee preserves and I bought locally spun wool yarn.

The 4x4's intentionally do not run in the same place, to avoid rutting up the land... but also I think the drivers are having too much fun!
