Yachtsmans Caribbean-Change from Prickly Pear to Fischers Cove

Just got this email. The beach BBQ was moved from Prickly to Fischers Cove. Luckily we will still end up on Jost Van Dyke for the evening of New Years Eve as we have reservations as Foxys but being closer to the ferry dock on VG we could head over earlier if we wanted.

 

"We look forward to welcoming you on Wind Surf’s upcoming Caribbean voyage.  We are writing to inform you of a change in the location of Windstar’s Signature Beach Party on Virgin Gorda.

The Beach Party will be relocated from Prickly Pear Beach to Fischer’s Cove, Virgin Gorda due to the continued rebuilding of facilities at Prickly Pear beach after last year’s storms.  Our ship’s anchorage position will also change to Fischer’s Cove. This will also mean our stop in Virgin Gorda will come prior to our stop in Jost Van Dyke

Fischer’s Cove is located at the southwestern end of Virgin Gorda.  With beautiful beaches, it is a fantastic location for Windstar’s Signature Beach Party.  In addition to this event, Windstar will continue to offer the shore excursions that were available from Prickly Pear.  Prices for excursions to Virgin Gorda’s Highlights & The Baths Tour have been reduced as Fischer’s Cove is located closer to The Baths.  If you already purchased the Highlights & The Baths Tour excursion, we will credit your account on board with the difference in price. We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.
