Calling cards????

For Roatan, you would need to change your SIM card. It would be better to find out who does VOIP at each port. About 3/4 of mile from port is Paradise Computers on the outskirts of Coxen Hole, heading to the beaches on the main road. This is a shop on Roatan that is our local Computer Fix-it plus so much more. At Paradise you can check email, fax, photocopy and phone home. When our lines are out we head here for our telephone calls. International rate are cheap per minute and you are close to where a lot of us locals say is the best lunch is on the Island - Que Tal.

But that aside, most places in this region use VOIP, I use it at home, and it's very reliable to make those all important calls home.
