Belize City (Carnival Glory) to Placencia

Traveling in May (19) and we are really excited about going to Placencia.  Now trying to figure out how to get there.  I just realized that we dock (tender) in Belize City.  There is ferry service from Harvest Caye.  Does anyone have any insight on how to make such a trip happen?  If not can someone recommend another beach excursion.  Thank you in advance for your time.

You won’t have time to go to Placencia.  It’s too far from Belize City.  It about a 3 hour drive from Belize City and I don’t think there are ferry rides from Belize City to Placencia.  Only Norwegian ships port at Harvest Caye, as far as I know.  It is their private island.

 

We are going to both Harvest Caye and Belize City in February.  We are going to Caye Caulker.  I will give a review when we get back.

 

We went to Harvest Caye and Placencia last year.

Unfortunately, you can't do it on a cruise stop. It is over 4 hours each way.
