things to do in Nassau

Hi....does anyone have any suggestions for excursions in Nassau? Anyone book any excursions not sponsored by the cruise ship? We will be there In August on the Navigator of the Seas.......:p

We are going on the Navigator in February. We ahve been to Bahamas before. We enjoyed going to the straw market and I think we took a horse drawn carriage around the area then we went to Paradise Island for the rest of the day .I hope that helps:)
