gerrimom Posted November 29, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2018 Arriving June 2019 in Newhaven. Will we have to tender?
tartanexile81 Posted November 29, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 29, 2018 Yes Newhaven (Edinburgh) is always a tender port. I have a thread about it here https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2148764-tendering-in-newhaven-for-edinburgh-with-photos/?tab=comments#comment-45800158. I apologise for the poor quality of the photos. Feel free to ask me any questions

lamchops Posted December 4, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 4, 2018 We were scheduled to tender in newhaven in September but the port was canceled due to wind. We were fortunate enough to spend 3 nights in Edinburgh pre-cruise but wanted to have tea on the Royal Yacht Britannia. Lots of disappointed folks as Edinburgh was one of the key ports on the cruise. tartanexile81 Posted December 4, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 4, 2018 The Forth is a fairly sheltered estuary and there's not a lot of cancellations due to the weather but it's ultimately going to be the captain's decision
