Cost of Gelato on Seaside

First time on a MSC ship and love gelato. We are ding the Bella experience, so from what I'm reading, there is an extra cost for gelato . Is this correct and does anyone know the cost of each serving or is there several sizes and prices involved?

 

Also is there any free ice cream anywhere on the ship??

My daughter's only complaint - no soft serve ice cream.

 

Gelato was $8.50.  There are 2 sizes - sorry, I'm not sure if the small is $8.50 or if the server was being generous and gave us the large for $8.50.  The salted toffee is beyond delicious!!!

Baby cup is $3 and regular cup is $5. Gelato was included in our drink package a few weeks ago. Not sure when you are cruising on Seaside; we are back on her in 389 days. And, we are hoping that gelato will be included in our drink package again. But, if not, the prices are very reasonable.

While on the Seaside in Feb 2018, we enjoyed soft serve ice cream from the smaller buffet. The machine is staffed.
