Upgrade Emails

We are sailing on the Jade December 24, there are only inside and Balconies left - We have 5 cabins with all cabins emails going to me and all are booked in balcony or higher yet I get 5 emails a day almost every day sometimes more reminding us to do our upgrade bid.   I know these are automatic but you would think if the ship was that full and there is no way we could ever even get an upgrade no matter what we bid, they would filter us out and we would stop receiving these annoying emails

They will always leave upgrade bidding open until the very end for two reasons:

 

1. There could be last-minute cancellations that free up a higher category room.
2. They gain valuable data from bids on what people are willing to pay for upgrades, which they can use in future pricing decisions.

It is impossible for you to tell what the inventory truly is on the ship. Don't be so sure that you can't get an upgrade.
