Anyone take metro to NYE Fireworks in Dubai?

Still looking for past cruisers that have gotten off the ship for the Dubai NYE fireworks. Anyone use the metro?

I know it will be crowded just want to know if it’s do able.  Is there a spot near the pier to walk or cab to that would be a good vantage spot?

We have used the Metro many times while in Dubai. It's very clean and very safe and good instruction for buying your ticket.
