Family cruise on Celebrity

Hello,

 

Our family of 4 (kids will be 11 and 10) are looking into a Christmas 2006 cruise. The South American cruise from Buenos Aires to Valparaiso on the Infinite caught our eye. Can the experts here give opinions on:

 

1) Is Celebrity kid-friendly enough, at least on the holiday cruises?

 

2) How is Christmas weather/sea-conditions in that part of the world?

 

For comparison, we took a Christmas cruise on the Star Princess in Australia/New Zealand a couple of years ago, and the kids had an awesome time, so any comparisons would be helpful as well.

As far as kid friendly goes, you will be in good shape as Celebrity does a great job with their kids program especially for the ages that your kids are at currently. On one hand your itinerary will see less families than a Carib cruise, but this is offset by the fact that you will be cruising during the holiday.
