Transportation from MCO to Port Canaveral Hotel

We are getting in a Thursday evening to MCO, and will be staying the night at a hotel close to the port. We rented a car, but I am guessing that doing shuttles will be cheaper. however, I am finding issues with ones that do evening pickups that take you to the hotel...most just say to the cruise port. Any suggestions? or how much is a Uber roughly?

We prefer to rent a car one way, stay in Orlando, and drop it in PC the morning of the cruise.

 

Cortrans, Cocoa Beach Shuttle and others are most often suggested on this board, but if you are arriving late they can't fill the van with others -- either they will not run or the price goes way up.

 

UberX from MCO to PC area hotels will run about $60-65+
