Cristaltips Posted January 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2019 There is a trip that ends up at the airport, I’m sure others who have done it will tell you if it’s any good. Personally, we wander up into Bridgetown, it’s about a 20 minute stroll.

Your hold luggage is left outside your cabin the night before and taken to the airport - you won't see it again until your arrival airport at baggage reclaim. Your hand luggage in which you will need to put everything you'll need overnight, during your departure day and the flight can be left in a supervised baggage drop on board. They give you a raffle ticket for reclaim purposes. You should however keep your passport, money and valuables with you. They suggest that you don't leave valuables in your hand luggage which you are putting in the store. We too like to take a leisurely stroll into Bridgetown. There are some stalls and shops in the port area and the walk into town is pleasant - along the waterfront. As we get to the bridge in town we cross over the pedestrian bridge to the Bridge House on the opposite side where we have a drink on the terrace looking over the water. We have a relaxed morning, stroll back to the ship for some lunch by which time it's not long before they will be transferring you to the airport.
