  1. Its ok I'll just stick a Cymru Sticker and Welsh flag on the back of my car they seem to like us.... mind you I do drive a pug too... Not brave enough to take my old mg's over yet...
  2. I think it would depend on their taste.... Epicurian will be the poshest... great food and service but not a party atmosphere.. Sindu - fairly quiet but not too quiet but great asian food good service - seen some large tables in there having a good time Glasshouse also good for groups - Beach house as above and more relaxed dining area. It will mainly depend what sort of meal they want to be treated with - if you want a posh meal experience at a fraction f what it would cost elsewhere think dining at the ritz then epicurian --- posh indian - sindu - beach house and glasshouse i would say are more normal meals out.
  3. I have seen teenagers in there before and as there generally not that many staff about and your there as well i think you will be fine. If you did get questions just be honest and explain why I'm sure it would be fine as long as your not hogging any particular machines..
  4. I have always bought using OBC at the table first night with no issues.
  5. they will offer some duty free to be given at end of cruise - but the shop prices dont vary
  6. Apart from a few cost cutting measures -e.g. port soaked stilton only avail the 2 posh posh nights now.... I think the service can vary on the same ship and cruise..... We have been on ventura 3 times, our middle time was awful for fixed dining service for our Table despite being 6 on a 8 table and all arriving the same time together every night.. food that trip wasn't the best. shame as it was the first cruise for my parents... However we went back about 16 months later the food had improved drastically and our service in fixed dining was excellent. Better restaurant team and head chef?.... Just done Britannia this year thought food was good and service was too. Kids team excellent as usual ( 3 trips used). Entertainment is still good some trips better than others. so in the 10 years or so I've been cruising I think the standards are similar just some of the frills are missing we had on our first one.
  7. 2 week cruise there will be 4 formal nights... first one captains welcome, get there early and you can snag a couple of free drinks.... I loved my Norway cruise
  8. No watch keeping at all Taxgal - in my case as junior rate - no fire party - no smoke containment - no hourly rounds and definately more than 2 cans per man per day maybe... (advantage of a wet Royal Navy 😉 ) As a senior rate - no defence watches - no being kicked out of bed at 2am because my kit has broken and definately better accommodation than both of above but having to pay to goto sea....
  9. yes rolling out for service leavers now then will be "advertised" for current vets... I believe it will be yur driving licence with veteran added to it so how visible and obvious when overseas ie usa i dont know
  10. Being ex- Royal Navy having experienced various sea conditions in the same ship class, I can definitely say from experience that once the ship starts a corkscrew motion that's the worse for sea sickness. Only been in a little rough weather on ventura and she seemed to handle it quite well..
  11. Just read this section on the cruise personaliser - if your on a P&O organised flight you would be met the other end and put onto the transfer bus. If you are making your own way you wont be met. the detail is under flights in your booking - mine was for caribbean thou... so worth checking your own page.
  12. £30 a seat this march... not paying thank you
  13. would be interested to know.... personally off on another one in march....
  14. Cant answer with prior experience as not been on cruises close enough together... However P&O would have bought the rights to show the films or be paying royalties on older ones where appropriate so i suspect they will show pretty much the same films over each period of time until next newer batch can be offered...
