funonabun Posted January 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Is the Spa Pool on deck 15 of the Grand Princess available to all or is it only for use by those who've paid for a spa service?
fishywood Posted January 4, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Despite the name "Spa Pool" and the appearance on the deckplans that it is within the confines of the Lotus Spa, it is not part of the Spa or Sanctuary (nor is it covered) and is open to all, though nominally adults only. Those pools on the original Grand-class ships used to be named "Lap Pool" but Princess long long ago stopped maintaining their swim-against-the-current machines. Consider it a huge fluke if it is working on your cruise.

Ep010835 Posted January 4, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2019 I've always considered this pool one of the on board "hidden gems". Seldom is this pool crowded. Although a comparatively small pool, it's a terrific place. Especially given the adults only nature of the pool.
