fstuff1 Posted January 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2019 (edited) i've always believed that the only difference on ALL ships was that the mini-suite had a bigger bathroom and 2 sinks. i went thru a cabin crawl on the Gem and saw the differences between the 2 cabins types. 1) The bathroom is bigger in the mini-suite but there are no double sinks. it's just a standard single sink but there is a tub. 2) the other parts of the mini-suite are also bigger than the balcony. - it has a 3 seat sofa vs a 2 seat one in the balcony thus the living room is bigger. - the balcony in the mini-suite is a little bigger/deeper Edited January 6, 2019 by fstuff1
Rare kjquilts Posted January 6, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2019 (edited) Additional Differences Bedside table on both sides of bed. Balcony stateroom has one on closet side with loveseat next to the bed on other side. Curtain to draw between couch area of stateroom and bed area. Mini-suite is deep enough to have couch open for bed for two and still get out onto balcony. Edited January 6, 2019 by kjquilts
