Grinch99 Posted January 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2019 Hello Just booked the Aurora very late for the Northern Lights cruise. We have been offered a balcony cabin either on Lido deck or A (decks 11 & 12) based on the EB class (purple in colour) However when I look in the brochure the cabins on 11 appear to opposite a weights & measures room, laundrette and the Riviera pool, is that correct? Also does anyone have experience of the lido deck cabins & know of that's a quite area? Many Thanks Grinch

AndyMichelle Posted January 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2019 Hi, The Riviera pool is outside, so I doubt you will get disturbed much this time of year. We were directly below this and had no issues at all. Its a bit rocky up there, but great views and very handy for the buffet and crows nest. Have a fantastic time, Andy
Thorthepony Posted January 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2019 We stayed in L100 and to our mind it’s the nicest part of the ship. We found it to be a very quiet deck as there are not many cabins there compared to other decks. It is well placed for the pool and self service dining, all being on the same deck. To our mind, we found it a lovely peaceful deck that worked well for us. Also because of the lower number of cabins there were never big queues for the lift and it’s only one deck down from the Crows Nest which made it ideal for a nightcap. Never had any issues with excessive movement of the ship either. All in all, highly recommend it. Aurora is a beautiful ship!
