NCL Hawaii - Excursion advice

Going next week on the Hawaii cruise. Can anyone provide some input on the excursions or even better, some do it yourself excursions, rental car recommnedations, etc. Looking to sightsee, snorkel, beach bum it! Thanks for all input!:)

Enjoy your trip! Search through this board you'll find lots of advice. Many people recommend enrolling in Thrifty's Blue Chip Club and renting cars through them - it saves time when picking up your car. Luckily, it is easy to rent a car at each of the islands and you can get around at your own pace. Be sure to go to Volcano National Park in Hawaii, it is amazing! There are so many options that you really need to just spend some time on this board looking through all of the many posts. If you can, run to your library and check out the "revealed" books - there is one for each of the islands.
