hallasm Posted January 20, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2019 I have just returned from a wonderful trip with MS Trollfjord. The only problem was that the upper deck 9 became incredibly slippery after snow. It was fine as long as there was snow on the deck, but when it melted and froze it was extremely dangerous to move on the deck - especially in the dark - we were on deck 9 in the evening a few times to photograph the northern lights. Are there instructions for how to clean the upper deck when snow and ice to avoid accidents? Northern lights above MS Trollfjord when we were leaving Berlevåg. Daniel Skjeldam Posted February 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2019 First of all, thank you for sharing this gorgeous photo! As you may expect, we can’t get enough of the Northern Lights. Thank you also for sharing the information about the deck; guest safety is always our first priority, and we endeavor to announce any specific safety measurements over the PA system on board. Yes, each ship does follow a set of operating procedures to ensure safety at all times. And, of course, we hope that our guests will always wear appropriate footwear for the conditions.
