When does Carnival release Journey cruises (2021)

We have only sailed Carnival twice, but I'm curious when they release the 2021 Journey cruises, in particular the S Caribbean.  We are currently booked on a Hawaii cruise in 2020.  Also, as far as the Hawaii cruise, which is better, port or starboard?  Thanks!!

itinerary is usually released a year and half in advance. For 2021 cruises, you might have to wait until January 2020 or so

Some of the Journey cruises are out.  We booked the Freedom Jan. 2021 a couple of months ago.
