Opinions on Royal Caribbean excursions in Aruba.

We will be in port on a Tuesday from 8 am until 9 pm. Just the 2 of us this time.

 

1st time in Aruba so not sure what to expect but already looking at possible excursions for that port via R.C. 

 

Any opinions..... yay or nay (& why) on their excursion packages?

What is it you want to do via excursion?  Beaches are pretty simple to do on your own.  As is shopping, etc....

 

But, if there is an excursion that strikes you, a ship's excursion is pretty fool-proof.  Simply show up at the time and place they tell you, then you worry  about nothing else.  That would be the "Yay".  The "Nay" is that ship's excursions almost always cost more than a private excursion, and ALL excursions cost more than DIY!

It is worth it to take an air conditioned bus tour of the island.  One can see about 2/3 of the island in about 3 hours.
