Current Voyager cruise

I have a friend on this cruise. They missed a day in Havana due to the Tornado.

Then Voyager cancelled Tortola...does anyone know why?

I'm sure that the Captain told the passengers why they could not stop in Tortola.  What does your friend say?  She would likely know more that we do.

I would love to know if the Voyager will be able to stop in Havana next week. That’s the main port I want to visit. Surely hope the devastation isn’t widespread and those injured make quick recoveries.

SS Voyager was in Havana yesterday, and did not depart as planned due to the adverse weather affecting the area earlier in the day.  The port authorities restricted navigation to daylight hours only, therefore, the ship remained alongside and departed early this morning.  Due to the unexpected overnight in Havana, the Tortola visit was unfortunately impacted.  The ship is now sailing towards Antigua for a planned Friday morning arrival.

Thank you, Mr OKeefe, for your informative response. I will be certain that my friend, who is new to cruising and a bit discombobulated by this, sees your note. The tornado is, of course, sad for the people of  Havana but luckily Voyager and her passengers sail on in good form.
