VacayVik Posted February 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Hi All! My husband and I are looking to book Carnival Horizon in May for our 1 year anniversary. We have cruised numerous times on RCL & NCL, however are leaning towards Carnival due to the new ship, ports, and 8 vs 7 day option. I am having a hard time finding the extra charges & fees for the Carnival Horizon. Does anyone have a link to a thread that displays what the beverage and dining packages cost? Also - any up-charges for the special experiences such as IMAX? Any direction is very helpful! Thank you! 🙂
Schoifmom Posted February 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2019 Here is the information for Cheers https://www.carnival.com/FunShops/item/SUM/cheers and Bottomless Bubbles https://www.carnival.com/cruise-food/bottomless-bubbles. You can also purchase a 12 pack of bottled water to your stateroom for $4.50. There are no specialty dining packages on Carnival. The steakhouse is $38 pp and others are $15 (Bonsai Sushi is ala carte). https://www.carnival.com/cruise-food I haven't been on a ship with the IMAX, but I do know that there is a minimal charge for it. https://www.carnival.com/onboard/imax
mvaughn11 Posted February 12, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2019 Apparently Carnival is planning on testing a dining package on the Horizon. I've read about it several places on the internet. Google: "john heald horizon dining package" and you'll get several hits.

Steakhouse is $38 + 2 x $15 vouchers is $68; so save $8. Is my math correct?
