Steakhouse reservations Splendor

I made a reservation online for the steakhouse on the first sea day (Sunday 4/21) on Splendor. Does anyone know how long it should take to receive a confirmation? This is the first time at the steakhouse for us.

Same here. Sometimes it's 30 minutes. Other times it's a couple of days.

 

I would follow up if you get nothing back after a week.

LOL... thank you! I literally received my confirmation about 2 seconds after you posted that!! Looking forward to a nice filet and hopefully a free bottle of wine (if they still do that).

I'll be hitting the escargot!!! Can you order more than one appetizer and/or other items?

You are limited to one entree.  I have ordered two appetizers as a substitution for a side or a salad.  I never tried simply to order multiples of a course.

 

If you're a wine drinker, I think the free bottle on the first night is ok, but the better deal by far for me is that you can order any bottle on their wine list for half price.

New Carnival cruiser here...

 

I just made a reservation at the steakhouse on the Splendor for my wife's birthday.   Our cruise is not until August, so we obviously have some time to wait.  My question is:  Can I pre-pay for my steak reservation?  Or is simply accomplished by pre-paying into your onboard credit account?

Our only other cruise was on HAL some time ago and they had a similar alt dining venue with a $20 surcharge, but with them you prepaid it similar to a shore excursion.

It will be charged to your on-board account at the completion of the meal.

 

I prepay by applying discounted gift cards to my account after boarding.

I just made Reservations for my March 2nd Sailing on the Splendor.  It took (1) Day for them to send me a confirmation by Email.

 

I will print our the confirmation and bring it aboard as I don't see my reservation in any of my cruise details.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

The e-mail is your confirmation.  It will not appear in your Cruise Manager.

We make reservations to the steak house on every cruise. I love the personal experience, the atmosphere, the food, and everything! We usually get a confirmation anywhere from 1-2 days after requesting online.

You should have a card in your room confirming. If not you will get a call or voicemail left on the room phone.

I requested a reservation upon booking, and received confirmation a month before our cruise.
