cruiser man 60 Posted February 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2019 I have an existing MSC booking for 2020 and noticed that a U.K. online TA is quoting a price lower that we got from MSC even with VC discount. anybody know if you can transfer an existing booking a get the new lower price from TA or would I need to cancel and rebook losing deposit, we are in UK. Rare Stockjock Posted February 13, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2019 If you are merely transferring to a TA without further changes, perhaps for better service or more OBC, then that normally doesn't change anything. If it's a change other than that, then yes it may involve a cancellation and rebook. Should that occur, you might be happy with the change or unhappy. In my case, I didn't move to a TA, but saw a better promotion. They assured me that I could keep the same cabin, but moved me to something far worse. Been fighting to get it restored for about 3 months. They just moved me again, far better than the last move, but not as good as the original cabin. I'd call the TA to discuss.
