From ship to tours

I have not seen golf carts or trams on the piers in Curacao. If the ship is alongside within the floating bridge area, you will be right near town. Larger ships are usually docked at a pier outside the old fort, and that is a moderate walk through the fort/shopping area and along the canal past vendors up to the floating bridge and town.

If you are docked at the new pier (past the Mega),   there is shuttle that takes you to the main Mega pier drop off area.

This was in April of 2018, and construction between the 2 piers was still ongoing, so maybe it was a safety thing at that time.

Perhaps somebody who has visited that  new outer pier more recently will comment if they have kept the shuttle permanently.

It would have been a considerable walk,  added to the walk through the fort,  to the floating bridge, to downtown.  Doable, but would certainly be a bit nicer with some help.

That said, if you are going on a ship sponsored tour, I would assume they will have busses right there for you.

Compared to some other ports, the actual pier in Curacao is a relatively short walk.
