Platinum Level Perks

Can someone tell me if the Platinum Club membership and perks kick in WITH the 10th Carnival cruise, or after the 10th Carnival cruise is completed. I saw someone on another post mentioned that she is getting the perks this weekend when she boards since it will be her 10th Carnival cruise.

Ok, Shocking but true. We can now say Carnival has more Perks for the Platinum Guests, which is 10 or more cruises.

There are dozens of threads on this... you are platinum with 10 or more cruises.

Jersey girl.. I called Carnival and they told me that you get it on your 10th.

Blyle, thank you very much. I just wasn't getting it. When people say you get it with 10 or more cruises, I assumed you had to actually complete 10 cruises. I'm so glad it kicks in with the 10th...that will be our 12 day Spirit Hawaii cruise, and it'll be really nice to have free laundry services!!!

Don't worry... I wasn't getting it either. Even when you think you're communicating clearly, to the other person you aren't!

New platinum program only on Valor for now--if it works, CCL plans to extend it to other ships.

It does include free laundry service.:)

When they say 10 or more... It means Ten cruises... or more = the 11th cruise and so on... Thus at Ten cruises, or More you add another cruise from the tenth....

 

Therefore, at your tenth cruise, you already had reached the tier level, and from there, its just more from the tenth

So why don't they just say, "after you've completed 9 cruises" you've reached Platinum Level?

Since Carnival owns Carnival, Princess, Costa, do the 10 cruises all

have to be on one line or will they acknowledge the total number of all cruises taken under the parent company? :confused:

AFTER the 10th cruise. We were on the Liberty over the summer, which was our 10th, the 11th is when it kicked in. We weren't platinum on the Liberty. We also made sure that Carnival had all our cruises b-4 hand (9) and this was our 10th. We were platinum this past January on the Destiny.

The Platinum level just started this month......explains why you didn;t have it on the Liberty..:confused: We will be on the Glory in May, hope it has it. :cool: Does anyone know? Seems to me that Currents article did not specify just one ship, just said changes could come later.
