  1. I think my last sentence, in asking a question, was poorly worded - my apologies. The Texas state flag clearly has no special permission or dispensation in the flag code to be flown at the same level as the U.S. flag and on that I believe we agree.
  2. The salient point in response to HicksRA is that the assertion that the Texas state flag is the only state flag allowed to be at equal height to the U.S. flag is false. I sense from your comment that you agree?
  3. Not exactly accurate: https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/texas-flag-height/
  4. I assume you don't mean "check in date" but rather "arrival time", correct? If so, Biker's comment should be accurate in terms of actual check-in at the terminal, even if the cabins are on different bookings but all linked.
  5. It also specifies "select" sailings departing between May 9 and May 31, 2024... pretty narrow offer selection.
  6. Similar experience this A.M. - I can login and see the booking but trying anything beyond that just gives the "there's been a glitch" message and bounces me back to the login screen.
  7. If your check-in window has not opened yet, this is how I've viewed the linked reservations in the app: Tap the person icon at the top of the opening app page (alternately, swipe left) Tap "Select a different cruise" on the next page Tap "View all" on the next page All the linked reservations should appear below yours on the next page.
  8. I did this same thing this past week. All our reservations are linked and when check-in opened, I was able to select port arrival times for everyone in all the reservations. I'm leaving the remainder of the check-in process to the folks on those reservations.
  9. Reply to add: Just realized the OP was talking about the web site, not the app (OP doesn't specify what are the symptoms of the app not working). Mike above gave the info OP needs.
  10. If your check-in opens date is May 3rd, check-in will open tonight at midnight (departure port local time). Our check-in date was May 2nd and it opened last night at midnight (departure port time); earlier in the day the "check-in" button/icon at the bottom of the opening page of the app appeared (had not been there previously) but only gave a "check back close to your cruise" message. Then at 12:04AM, the check-in button allowed us to get into the check-in area and we selected our arrival times.
  11. Indeed. Example: I was sharing RCI's mobile app online check-in user's guide from the web site (which is two years old) with my DD's and it's still showing vaccination as a step for check-in. How many posts have there been on this board in the last six months or so asking if vaccination proof is still part of check-in based on that document?
  12. True on all points for us as well. Costs more but you have dedicated transportation and you're in control.... mostly. Mechanical problems can always occur even with private conveyance.
  13. It's been nearly three weeks and the OP has not responded to your question but I too would like to know. Melandria's experience was at Langosta and I'm not familiar with Hacienda Tequila in the Puerta Maya or International port areas.

We have not been to either so the only advice I can provide is this: Maya Key is close to the cruise port and Turquoise Bay is quite a long drive to the northeast (about 10-11 miles as the sea gull flys). If travel time is a concern, then Maya Key would be the choice. I'm sure others who have visited both will have more info for you. ETA: just saw your other thread on this topic and it appears you chose Maya Key, albeit for other reasons than travel time.
  15. Thank you for the follow up Mike! Good to hear that you can still select an arrival time only in the app and do the rest later, at leisure.
  16. Could well be. I think I've always heard it's pretty much tied to final payment date for the sailing but perhaps that has changed.
  17. So I would say that you're within final payment date so the TA's likely would have already returned their unsold inventory.
  18. In addition to Mema's explanation above, without know how far out your cruise is, the web site won't show you all the truly available cabins in any category. There will be TA holds which may be returned about 45-60 days out plus, I've never seen the RCI web site show you more than about 10 cabins as available. If it's showing none available, I would be very skeptical at this point. We got an RU offer for all the suite categories but in checking availability on the web site, only one of the five suite categories were showing available but yet we could bid on all five.
  19. Shows opened yesterday, 64 days out, was able to use both the app and the web site to get reservations that we wanted.
  20. Yea, those "New" states... they aren't so new so maybe the AI generated software didn't think it was relevant any longer. 🙂
  21. Agree. And since your check-in window is a week from today (or a week from last night at midnight, port time), I would be interested in knowing if the app still allows you to select arrival time without going through the prior traveler info step. Some have reported recently that you cannot do that any longer.
  22. True, that screen does show our check-in date accurately, I just hope the option to start check-in actually returns on that date.
  23. I did notice one interesting update on the app after I updated it this morning, the "Check-In" icon at the bottom of the initial page is gone. Previously, it was there but when you tapped it, the next screen said (paraphrasing) "check back closer to your cruise date." I hope it comes back when our check-in window opens.
