Norwegian Dawn - Cozumel

Can anyone tell me where the Norwegian Dawn tendered to on voyages since the hurricane in Cozumel? If you could tell me the closest pier, that would be a great help. I want to find the closest rental car office to where we dock.

don't know the pier name, but it was very near the Hard Rock Cafe (which is still closed)

Hey wait a second..Isn't the Hard Rock Cafe downtown? I thought they would be dropping people near Puerta Maya pier, 1 km south...I'm glad I asked

Hi Andrew - I sailed the Dawn for Xmas / New Years. I too do not know the name of the pier, but we tendered into the one closest to downtown - not the ones further down used by RCI or Carnival (which are Punta Maya and Punta Langosta, I think).

 

There are car rental company reps on the pier holding signs. Once you express interest, they go through the traditional bargaining process with each company trying to outbid the other. Once you settle on a car type and price, another rep escorts you to the office. We selected a VW for $40/day from Executive. The Office was a short walk from the pier (10 min max). The staff was very professional and helpful.

The tender boats servicing NCL ships are pulling up to the ferry pier, not the cruise ship piers.
