MSC-Texas Holdem

Can anyone tell me if the big ships of MSC (meraviglia, Seaside etc) have texas holdem tables? 

On Symphony there were 2 tables for regular texas holdem play, and hoping to be able to play on Bellissima.

I did a little research last year when considering MSC and could not find a mention of Texas Holdem on their ships.  So I assume they do not have it.

 

For the benefit of others reading this post, we are not talking about Ultimate Texas Holdem where you play against the house, instead this is the form of poker you play against other players on a large oval table.

I didnt think I would find it on Symphony of the seas last summer either, as I found no information about it, but they had 2 tables, so fingers crossed🤞 

But guess I’ll have to take a lesson or two on Ultimate Texas holdem just in case

All of RCCL, Celebrity and Norwegian ships have live poker with dealers.  Princess and Carnival have digital Texas Holdem tables, which I like since the game moves fast. 

 

Ultimate Texas Holdem is not a good substitute unless you like losing money quickly lol.  But I have seen some big wins there too.

I'm joining Bellissima on  Monday for her maiden voyage  to Barcelona. If there's a Texas hold em table I'll be there so I'll report back and let you know.

We had a very enjoyable cruise and found  the  ship  very elegant.  

 

The casino had 14 tables and 153 slot machines. There was NO Texas hold-em , 3 card poker or a craps table. For the 1st day there was only 1 Ultimate Texas hold-em table but queues of people waiting for a game so they did turn one of the blackjack tables over so for the rest of the cruise there were 2 Ultimate tables.

 

You need 9999 points to receive a free cruise which unfortunately I didn't quite make as we had an extra overnight in Lisbon due to rough seas and not being able to dock at La Coruna which should have been our first port of call. I did however receive a voucher for 30% off a future booking and 125 euro.

 

There was smoking allowed in about half the area of the slots on one side of the casino.

 

Celebrity is still my favourite cruise line but I would sail on Bellissima again.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise on Bellissima. 

Quit smoking 3 years ago, but it doesnt bother me at all if other smokes. 

Will have to do some practice on ultimate texas holdem before my cruise then😁

Thank you for the update, and I'm glad you had a nice trip and would repeat on that ship. 

 

I'm disappointed MSC doesn't run Texas Holdem games currently.  Maybe it will change in the future.
