Mustangosally Posted February 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 26, 2019 We are doing a Gate 1 monarch princess Danube River cruise In March 2019. Has anyone done the river cruise in March? We are hoping it won’t be too cold. The cruise will start in Passau and end in Budapest. We are staying in Prague a few nights before we start the cruise. Any tips will be helpful. Trig2018 Posted February 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2019 We're doing that one on April 6th and wonder just how cold it might be!
Rare notamermaid Posted February 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2019 (edited) I hope you have a few hours in Passau as the town is great. Do have a look at the Dom (cathedral). In March it can be chilly at night. Depending whether you sail early or late in the month you will have cool or warm afternoons. There is a slight chance of snow, especially in the hills around Passau. The weather can vary a lot. Getting closer to the date, you could check AccuWeather.com or similar sites. notamermaid Edited February 27, 2019 by notamermaid missing word
