Snorkel Equipment

Can someone let me know how much it is to rent all the equipment needed to snorkel on the shore excursions. I am debating on buying 2 sets instead of renting them depending on the cost.

If snorkeling is part of the excursion then snorkel equipment will be provided. On the beaches we visited the fee was $6 in Cozumel and $12 at Doctors Cave Beach Club in Jamaica.

In Cozumel, at Chankanaab Park, I had my own snorkel and mask - rented the fins $3 and vest $3.

On our Triumph cruise you could actually purchase a snorkle for $5.00.

Yhey have started charging extra for equipment on some of the carnival excursions. What ship/itinerary are you on and are you talking about excursions booked thru the cruise line? Best bet is to buy your own, at least a mask and snorkel, and just rent fins. That way you know they fit and won't leak and you know where they've been.

We have our own but most shore excursions include the equiptment but you should buy the mouthpiece on the ship for $5 for sanitary reasons Have Fun
