TV at Koningsdam

I searched the forum but did not find an answer:

Is it possible to "plug in" something via USB at the TV - I miss the dvd players at Holland America -  I loved to catch up my favourite series during a TA - I could do that on my phone but would prefer to watch it on a bigger screen....

Thanks

Wendy

I don't think so. TV is wall mounted and I think back is not easily accessible. The remote control cannot be used to change inputs.  You would have to bring a universal remote and match it to the TV. I wouldn't try for fear of messing something up that I can't fix!

Hi, sometimes the external ports like for USBs on the TV,  are disabled as there is a fear of viruses etc being imported into their systems. But I can't say for sure on HAL. Can you download your TV/movies onto your device such as a tablet? Its not as easy as downloading Netflix say, but it is possible, depending on what device you have or what you want to bring with you.
