cavenger Posted March 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Just trying to get an overall opinion. I already bought the open bar and reserved Rock of Ages and Burn the Floor... but haven't reserved an excursion or specialty dining. What do you guys think? RedwingHockeyFan Posted March 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2019 If you want to go thru NCL for excursions then I would suggest that. A lot of times there is limited space for them.
mdsgu Posted March 14, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2019 If there's an excursion you really want, I would buy it ahead of time. Definitely reserve your specialty dining ahead of time. The best slots get filled (usually) before the ship sails. Reservations open either 90 or 120 days in advance. We always book as early as we can -- especially true if you have a large group. A la carte restaurants can be reserved without payment. Fixed-price restaurants will need to be paid for at the time of booking. If you like water in your stateroom, just go ahead, bite the bullet, and pay through the nose to have some delivered to room. NCL doesn't let you carry on bottled water.
cdnsteelman Posted March 14, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2019 If you're going to get an internet package like "unlimited" there is a discount if you buy it in advance.
