Silverspringcruiser Posted March 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2019 I see on the 7 day Greek islands cruises the ship is in port nearly every day. When does the actual sailing occur? As I don't see any specific port times I can't tell. Would like to be sure that there's more than one afternoon out in the open water.
leongcpa Posted March 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2019 (edited) If one of the ports of call is Santorini, you'll either sail in to the caldera late morning/early afternoon or sail out of the caldera in the late afternoon. Having done both, my preference would be the former ( you can catch the sunset at the top of the caldera), but both would be spectacular, as sailing out in the late afternoon allows you to catch the sunset from the water.
