Gate 1 Danube River cruise

We are doing a  Gate 1 Danube River cruise March 24 -31, Passau Germany  to Budapest.   Does anyone know about the water levels?  Thanks

We did the same cruise in Oct/Nov with Gate 1. I followed the thread by notamermaid - great updates on water levels. Because of the excellent info on this thread, we were prepared for the low water levels on the Danube last year. Here is the thread for 2019:

Brief info as the situation is likely to change within a week. Currently mild flooding in the Upper Danube in Bavaria. After much rain and some snow melt the rivers are feeding the Danube well. Rain will be less during the coming week. The river level will go down and looks to go back to normal status soon.

 

Smartphone typing and research is awkward so will post update in the other thread when I am on my computer.
