Car Rental near Pan American Pier

What is the nearest car rental near Pan American Pier? We are trying to decide if we should rent a car for the 3 days post cruise stay or take a taxi to hotel and rent a car just one day to explore the rest of the island?

The Sheraton Convention Center has one of the big ones.

 

But unless you are looking to stay way out of San Juan, I'd try to find a rental near where you are going to stay- I know the Sheraton Old San Juan had Hertz, and I'm sure there's a pick up both Isla Verde and Condado,  That way you pay for the car and parking for only the time you need it as opposed to all 3 days.

 

And it is cheaper to rent off airport and drop off at the airport.
