bandect Posted March 20, 2019 #37 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Just like you EngIceDave. We are on a Casino comp on this cruise. In fact we just received another invite for another MSC Cruise comp! We will also be in Spain in the fall so we are taking an MSC cruise out of Venice in September that was also a comp! How about 'special nights' on this cruise? Anything special going on? Very dressy or more casual?

Rare EngIceDave Posted March 20, 2019 Author #39 Share Posted March 20, 2019 So we’re in Ocho Rios, Jamaica we’re docking at Reynolds Pier, which is like an industrial pier. Not in city center. Rare EngIceDave Posted March 20, 2019 Author #44 Share Posted March 20, 2019 So for reference, we walked from that pier to what I’d guess you’d call the city center, at least where the stores and some restaurants are, in about maybe 10-15 minutes? Hardest part of the walk was all the taxi drivers soliciting us to ride in a taxi.

Rare EngIceDave Posted March 20, 2019 Author #46 Share Posted March 20, 2019 Nope, no joke. Be pretty hard to fake the photos like that. Its not that bad, all the buses are here for excursions and if you want to walk to shopping, it’s a quick and easy walk.

The pier is called the James Bond pier after it appeared in one of the Bond films, been there twice ten years apart and nothing has changed!

Rare EngIceDave Posted March 21, 2019 Author #50 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Ok, tonight was the first meal I’d call “not good,” basically, it was all over cooked and dry. It was the fisherman dinner, closest thing to a lobster night
