No worries, travelingtink

I booked through MSC directly, as mine is a casino comp

Anyone ever wonder what the included “bottle of mineral water” was?

Well, it’s this, a full QUART (1 liter) bottle of Aqua Panna, which a decent bottled water....still or gas, your choice

In May we’re on a comped casino cruise as well through Urcomped

Hows the Armonias casino been treating you?   Are you a slot or table player?   We mainly play Ultimate Texas Holdem and 3 card...And prob about 20% slots

Guess w No smoking at the tables I’ll be playing a little more slots...last cruise I was on that had no smoking at the tables each time I’d go over to have a smoke Id throw a $20 in the slots...kept hitting for small amounts like  $50, $100, $200 😜

Also Can you smoke at the casino bar?

Good Luck and Win a lot 🍀🍀🍀💰💰💰🍀🍀🍀

Looking forward to your pics and daily reviews of Cuba and more about the ship

Ok, so our Grand Cayman stop was cancelled as we sat just off the beach due to high winds.

As we sat there, I could see that they kept throttling the engines to keep us in place.

At about 7:45 they announced that due to the 25kt winds, it was unsafe to tender in.

They called force majure and said they’ll refund all Cayman port fees and taxes. Not that much, I’m sure.

As for the TV and movies someone asked about, apparently at some point I missed a movie channel on TV channel #28

we just finished watching “First Man,” with Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy. It’s a fairly recent movie, so I’ll keep eye on it for other things.

Also so for the casino, I will give a tip to any slot players or interested parties.

See this his bank of machines? The machine to the left is likely the most friendly I’ve found and observed. Seems at most any bet level, it plays well. At the max 8.88 I have been in for about $200 but been able to cash out at $400+

Based on the photos, you should be able to get your bearings on where it’s located

Early morning arrival in Cozumel

Our Cozumel tour to Tulum was to meet in theater at 9:45, but due to the change yesterday (Cancellation of Cayman due to weather) and our 3 hour earlier arrival this morning, we will now meet at 8:00

Do not know if that means our tour will be longer, or the same amount of time to allow for shopping and exploration

We’ll see

Had a bit of an issue regarding the Cuba Visa and this is a FLAT OUT COMPLAINT.

At the meeting, he said them at the room steward would hand deliver you your Visa and you have to sign for it. So you MUST be in your cabin to collect it. If you’re not in cabin during turn down, tough luck. You can’t go to the customer service desk to get one. They’re numbered and assigned. We went to the CS desk, learned this and was told they’d tell room steward. We waited an hour, and if not for my wife pacing the hall looking for her, it would have been longer.

Yes, we could have waited until tomorrow (today), but we wanted to get it, get it completed and be done. Especially if we have to be present in cabin to receive it.

We missed last nights show due to this.

Since you must be in cabin, you have to miss your dinner seating, a show or something as you sit on “house arrest” awaiting your steward to do turndown service and allow you to sign for your visas.

I’m sorry, there has to be a better way

You think it would be better for us to get visa before the cruise then?

We were not in our cabin when the room steward came by with the visa. Eventually he simply left it in the cabin for us without us signing for it.

That certainly makes sense, but were told otherwise. Steward did have them and did have my wife sign for them.

Some pics of our excursion to Tulum (booked thru MSC)

We enjoyed it.

You can see the shuttle ferry to take you from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen

the bag was our “box lunch,” was a cheese and ham sandwich, a juice, an apple, bag of chips/crisps, sweet roll and a mint.

Tulum is Tulum, it was cool, educational
