matmoo Posted March 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2019 (edited) Can anyone from the UK who has recently visited Oman advise if they needed to obtain a visa before travelling. I’ve asked this question to both Royal Caribbean and Visa Central (CIBT) but their responses have not answered the question. Thanks Carole Edited March 28, 2019 by matmoo Spelling error
SadmanCruiser Posted March 28, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Hi Carol I am guessing you visit Oman on a cruise. If you are, no need for visa. Cruise line will collect passports and when it is returned there will be a stamp from Oman. Pete
Heidi13 Posted March 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2019 We visited Oman on a ship in 2015 and did not require a Visa before arrival - when using my UK passport.
matmoo Posted March 28, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted March 28, 2019 Thank you SadmanCruiser and Heidi13 for your responses. Yes we will be on Spectrum OTS and just stopping in Oman for 1 day. Unfortunately there is a lot of conflicting info on line, and I didn’t want to risk issues by going onboard without the necessary visas. From your replies I’ll now stop fretting 😉
SRF Posted March 29, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 29, 2019 Best thing is to contact the Omani Embassy in London and ask them. THEY are the definitive answer. Everything else is second hand and subject to error.
