Upgrading Dining Packages

We currently have a three day dining promo, but we’re looking to upgrade to the 5 night dining package.  Is there any advantages to booking this pre-cruise or is it the same price/benefits to upgrade on the ship.  We have quite a bit of onboard credit we would like to use up.  Thanks in advance!

You can not upgrade. You can buy a second package at retail price. The minimum is 3 nights. So you would have 6 nights. You can buy on board and use your OBC.

I have a question related this,  we have the three dinner promo for two of us, so  six dinners,  there will be 3 of us sailing, can i buy the6 dinner package and have it distributed so each of us will have 4 dinner credits?

My understanding is no.  The packages are per person.

We've done similar before.  They didn't care which of us ate as long as we were all in the same cabin.
