Carnival vista social media pakage

I will be cruising the Vista onnthe Cozumel, Belize, Roatan route.  What was your experience/ connectivity with the SOCIAL MEDIA PACKAGE?  Thanks in advance for your help.

We sailed on the Vista last summer. I got the social package and my husband got the premium package and we had no issues. Sometimes it was a bit slow, but overall, it was good. You are going on a different route than we did though, but I would imagine the service wouldn't be too different.

where you are has nothing to do with your satellite internet connection. Word is the the Vista has faster internet than most ships

I wasn't that impressed with it last summer.   I was on the Liberty for Spring Break and it barely worked for us....couldn't hardly connect to anything.

The Vista and Horizon have Carnival's best wifi service. For example, with the Premium plan, people are able to stream Netflix and YouTube on those two ships, so I'm sure it's safe to say that anything that's supported on the Social plan will work quite well.

They are specifically talking about the Vista which has the new wifi

I had the social package on the Vista in December and didn't have any issues.  It worked much better than when I was on the Breeze.

We just got off the Vista a few weeks ago, and I was pleasantly surprised with the social media package. Pictures and videos on Instagram loaded fine. Not lightning fast, but acceptable. In contrast, last year we were on the Breeze, and the social media plan was HORRIBLE.  I gave up trying to get things to load and I asked for my money back.
